Hi Families,

I was glad to see many of you at our puppet show on Friday. The kids were thrilled with their performances and couldn't wait to take their puppets home. They are a creative bunch!

Our pollinator garden is ready to be planted! The kids helped add composted soil to the garden on Friday. Now, when the weather cooperates, we will be planting the perennials. We have about 60 plants that will attract a wide variety of pollinators. The garden is located near James Ave. by the lunchroom door. I hope that families will visit the garden during the summer. I already have plans to round up my class next year in the fall to see how the garden has grown. I think the 2nd grade teachers will let me do that! Please have the kids wear clothes that they can get dirty this week. Gardening is messy but fun.
