PTA
We hope that you consider joining the PTA for the current year (memberships do not carry over – you must pay dues each year). As a member, you will have a vote on how the PTA spends money for our children and Burroughs.

Site Council
The Burroughs Site Council is a group comprised of parents, staff, and an at-large community representative who meet monthly to deal with and give input on issues related to school operation. Site Council members are responsible for representing the interests of all Burroughs students, parents, and staff and as such, serve as a communication link between these various groups.

District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC)
DPAC provides two-way information between parents and the School District.

Volunteering
There are small and large, daytime and nighttime, weekday and weekend needs. Many volunteers are needed to tutor students, work in the media center, and help teachers with special projects.

Teaching and Learning Resources
The Minneapolis Schools Teaching and Learning Department is focused on ensuring that every student, in every classroom, has access to engaging instruction and the opportunity to excel.
