This is my 11th year teaching for Minneapolis Public Schools!  My first year of teaching was actually here at Burroughs in Kindergarten!  I taught 1st and 2nd grade at Armatage Montessori for 3 years, and returned to teach at Burroughs in 2nd grade!  I LOVE this school, community, and the 2nd grade team at Burroughs!  I have my Master's Degree in Elementary Reading and Literacy, and I am also certified in Montessori education.  I LOVE teaching, but I also love to learn!  

I have lived in the Minneapolis area for about 16 years now, but I am originally from Eau Claire, Wisconsin.  One thing to know about me is that I am a BIG Packer fan!  I am sure that your child will be hearing about this from time to time! J  My husband, my children, and I live in Bloomington.  We have 2 children: Lilly, who is 7 and Grayson, who is 4. 

When I am not teaching, I am spending time with my family, chasing and playing with my busy kiddos, reading books,  and gardening.  :)
