Mr. Frober

Welcome to an exciting year at Burroughs!  I’m very excited to be your child’s homeroom teacher. I would like to take this opportunity to tell you a little about myself and my family.
I received my degree in Elementary Education from St. Cloud State University.  I have a Master's degree in Urban Education, from Hamline University.  This will be my twentieth year teaching in Minneapolis Public Schools, and my eleventh year at Burroughs.  I have taught first, second, sixth, fifth and fourth grade.
I live in south Minneapolis with my wife Robyne, daughters Makaia (17), Morgan (15), and Amelia (11).
When I’m away from school I enjoy playing hockey, watching Gopher hockey, golfing, and spending time with my family.
As your child’s teacher, I am committed to finding out your child’s interests and abilities in order to best provide a learning environment where s/he will be a successful learner.
I look forward to working with you and your child during the school year.  Together we will make it an exciting and successful year of learning!
