I got involved with the Burroughs community as a kindergarten parent in 2018 and haven't looked back. Getting involved as a Class Champ, a classroom volunteer and also serving on the PTA board have been great ways to give back to the Burroughs community. What drives me is the immersion in the community, agreeing to disagree for the sake of our kiddos, and transforming our inclusive, diverse culture into actionable goals.

So, let's talk! A great place to start learning about Burroughs, our budget and operations, how we run the school and the many volunteers that make it happen is at our PTA meetings. Your voice and participation counts, so I encourage you to be at the table and let us know how we can better support you as a Board.
