The time has finally come for Read-A-Thon prizes!  While the closing ceremony didn't happen like usual, 2,358,063 minutes were read and $84,050 was raised!  Now it's time for our students to reap their rewards!  

Prize pick-up will be offered during these times:

• Wednesday, June 3rd, 8 am - 3 pm
• Friday, June 5th, 10 am - 2 pm

Prize pick-up will be held outside the school in the Burroughs bussing area on James Ave.  Prize bags not picked up at these times will be held until fall.

A few instructions to help keep everyone safe:

We are attempting to have minimal contact with families during this curbside prize pick up event. To maintain distancing, a limited number of volunteers will be available to help, so please have patience if there is a line. All volunteers will be wearing masks. Volunteers will not have access to the building.   

Drive up:

1. Please turn from 50th onto Minnehaha Pkwy heading South, take a right on 51st and a right on James (circling around the back of the school).  
2. Please bring a sign with your child's room number and their full name written large & clear and display it to the volunteers.  If you have more than one child, please make one sign for each.
3. Pop your trunk or open a window to an empty passenger seat and we'll drop the prize bag(s) and shirt(s) into your car.
4. Remain in your vehicle at all times.

Walk up:

1. Please approach along James Ave from the south.  
2. Walk up to the chalk line which will be 6' in front of the table.  Please stay behind the line and respect distancing from others while waiting. 
3. Please bring a sign with your child's room number and their full name written large & clear and display it to the volunteers.  If you have more than one child, make one sign for each.
4. Volunteers will place the prize bag(s) and shirt(s) on the table.
5. After the volunteer has left the space, approach and pick up your prizes.  

There are over 700 prize bags to hand out, so please be patient and kind.
